As high school seniors across the country are preparing to graduate, I thought it only seemed appropriate to share a throwback of beautiful Chloe. Chloe was a senior at Presentation High School last year. You know how some people just seem to know everyone? This girl absolutely did! She seemed to know everyone I have photographed over the past five years as a Bay Area Senior Photographer!
Truly, Chloe’s session was too pretty not too post. Better late than never, right? I loved Chloe’s style, and her ease in front of the camera. She’s one of those girls who really embraces who she is with confidence yet humility. I’m so excited to see where the future takes her.
In addition to her senior session, I photographed a family session with her siblings and parents. They chose some beautiful colors for their wardrobe! Wardrobe is quite flexible, but a beautiful and consistent palette with well fitted clothing can definitely increase the odds that you’ll adore the final product of your photo session. It’s far more important that you feel strong and attractive in your clothing with colors that compliment than to wear the latest, greatest, and most stylish thing. Teenagers are often comfortable in their unique style, but sometimes us adults can feel overwhelmed by the choices. This a great example that you can keep it simple and reap beautiful results.
I love photographing families with teenagers. So often we have family portraits done when our children are small, but put it aside as they reach double digit ages. These years with your teens are just as precious. It’s the last few years before they strike out and start a life on their own. It’s a sign of all of your hard work, mom and dad, paying off. Celebrate it and remember it with family portraits, even if your kids are taller than you now.
