I love sessions with older siblings! More families should do a sibling session like this. The purpose of this session was to capture these two together before the oldest, Amanda leaves for college. It seems like so many parents stop doing professional sibling shots of their kids once they are over 5 years old. I think that is too bad, since some of the most amazing images can be of older siblings (not to mention they follow directions and we don’t have to chase them around with Smarties and puppets!). As someone who has a brother, the sister-sister relationship is always so interesting to me. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot more about it as my own twins grow up! These girls were a lot of fun and I’m sure Amanda is missed now that she is off at school. I totally love how beautiful their eyes look in this first image – so pretty!
